*Monday - Friday 8.15am - 4.15pm.

These timings include unpaid breaks totalling one hour daily.

 

Responsible to: Executive Principal via Vice Principal (Behaviour and Safety) via SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator)

We are seeking to appoint a learning support assistant to join our hardworking, warm, and welcoming staff team. 

We are looking for a full time, enthusiastic advanced learning support assistant who has a passion for learning, who will put the needs of our students first and has excellent interpersonal skills. The position involves supporting students’ learning, assisting the class teacher, and helping to make and maintain a positive, organised, and efficient environment.


You will:

  • have good communication, numeracy, and literacy skills
  • be able inspire, motivate, and support our pupils, encouraging inclusion of all pupils
  • take every opportunity to develop pupils’ language, reading, numeracy and related skills
  • have a calm and patient nature
  • be willing and able to teach phonics
  • be willing to learn and develop in the role
  • have the highest expectations for the attainment of all young people.
